These terms govern participation in the Advigator affiliate and referral programme. Accepting them is a condition of joining. They are separate from the Master Services Agreement, which governs your own use of Advigator if you are also a customer.
1. Eligibility
The programme is open to businesses and to individuals acting in a professional capacity. You must be 18 or over. Employees of Advigator and their immediate family are not eligible. We may decline or end a participation at our discretion.
2. How referrals are tracked
You receive a unique referral link. When someone follows it and creates an Advigator account, the referral is attributed to you through a cookie and the campaign parameters in the link, for the attribution window stated in your affiliate dashboard. Self-referrals, referrals of accounts you already control, and referrals of existing customers do not qualify. Where attribution is disputed or multiple affiliates claim a referral, we review the recorded referral and applicable programme settings; no duplicate commission is payable. Cookie restrictions can prevent attribution. Keep a copy of the programme terms displayed when making the referral.
3. Commission and payment
Commission rates, the attribution window, the qualifying period and the payment schedule are those shown in your affiliate dashboard at the time of the referral. Commission becomes payable only on amounts actually paid to us and not refunded or charged back. We may withhold or reverse commission on referrals that are fraudulent, that breach these terms, or whose underlying payment is reversed.
You are responsible for your own taxes on commission received, and must supply valid tax and invoicing details before payment. Where required, we will apply withholding tax and provide the documentation.
4. How you may promote Advigator
You may:
- write honestly about the product, including reviews and comparisons;
- use our name and logo as provided in our brand assets, to refer to us.
You must not:
- bid on “Advigator” or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or use them in display URLs;
- register domains, social accounts or app listings containing our name or a confusing variant;
- send unsolicited email or messages, or promote through any channel in breach of anti-spam law;
- misrepresent the product, its pricing, its results or its relationship with Amazon;
- claim to be Advigator, to speak for Advigator, or to offer support on our behalf;
- promote through coupon, cashback or toolbar extensions without our written agreement;
- use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, or any other method of forcing attribution.
Where the law requires it — including the US FTC endorsement guidelines and equivalent EU and Indian rules — you must clearly disclose that you earn a commission, in each place you promote.
5. Data protection
If you pass us the contact details of a prospect, you must have a lawful basis to do so and must have given that person the information the law requires. We process affiliate data as a controller, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Changes and termination
We may change these terms, the commission rates or the programme structure on 30 days’ notice, and may end the programme on 30 days’ notice. Either of us may end your participation at any time on written notice. Commission already earned and qualifying at the date of termination remains payable on the applicable payment schedule. Future purchases do not generate post-termination commission unless the programme terms accepted for that referral expressly provide a continuing entitlement. We may terminate immediately and withhold unpaid commission for breach of section 4 or for fraud.
7. General
You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing here creates an employment, partnership, agency or joint venture relationship, and you have no authority to bind Advigator. Clauses 10 (limitation of liability) and 15.9 (governing law and jurisdiction) of the Master Services Agreement apply to these terms as if set out here.
Our Trademark Guidelines apply to permitted brand use. Any programme-specific written permission prevails over general brand restrictions.
